Rebels and Redcoats at Edinburgh Castle

P6B had a fab time up at Edinburgh Castle today. Our trip was split into two parts: the first was spent exploring the castle from a jacobite’s point of view and the second from a redcoat’s. Our guides took us to some key points in the castle, where they told us stories from the time (some of them funny) and taught us lots of interesting facts. We also had the chance to explore replica weapons, items and clothing, and we developed our understanding of what life would have been like for the soldiers on either side.
