P6C at Burns Unbroke

On Thursday P6C were invited along to visit the Burns Unbroke Exhibition at Summerhall. This was a follow up to two wonderful art workshops with the artist Ciara Veronica Dunne where the class explored the poem Tam O’Shanter, chose our favourite scene from the poem and used indian ink to create our final masterpieces now on display at Summerhall. Huge Congratulations to James Havard, Hugo Verity-Povoas and Oscar Griffin whose recreation of Alloway Kirk was chosen as the winning design for the Burns Unbroke tote bag.

On Thursday we were also lucky to see Andy Cannon’s ‘Oor Rabbie’ performance. Here is a selection of photos of our workshops and our trip to Summerhall.
