Merry Christmas from P6C!
Month: December 2017
Some of our favourite photographs from P6’s fun-filled, festive Christmas party! Lots of games and Christmas music before the half time party food and then back to more games and dancing! Thanks to the Wonderful Mrs Yaseen for setting up all our party food!
A well earned party after lots of hard work this year P6!

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year when it comes. Have a lovely holiday, stay safe and we’ll see you all back on the 9th of January.
P6A did an art project to design and create a Christmas house with fantastic results! This tied in with our topic 3D shape in maths, using cube nets and triangular prism nets for the walls and roof along with each student creating their own 3D furniture for inside.
After a lot of PVA glue, cotton wool and coloured card we made 32 houses for our Winter Wonderland village.
On Monday P6B were very happy to lend a hand to their buddies, who were making sliding Santas. We even found enough time to squeeze in some Christmas karaoke!Buddy time is always a fun time and it is lovely to see how well the children get on.
P6A have completed their own suspense storybooks after having studied suspense writing techniques in class for several weeks. They used ipads to help write and edit their work before printing out their final drafts, writing a blurb and creating a cover for their storybook which look very impressive!
Today we enjoyed ‘Games Day’ in P6B. First of all we played Charades, followed by a snowman drive. After lunch we continued with Pictionary and a Christmas quiz. Congratulations to William, Louis, Danniel and Hamish who were in the winning team. 👏🏻
Thank you P6B for your enthusiasm and for making it a very fun day.

A well earned party after lots of excellent learning this year P6!

Since we will be busy partying this Friday, P6B took to the Meadows yesterday for their mile run. We did try to outrun the rain but unfortunately it caught up to us- not that it dampened our spirits at all!
Thank you to Miss Rogerson who looked after all of the babies while we were out. We didn’t think flour babies and rain would mix too well! ☔️
P6B are now the proud parents of some very gorgeous flour babies. It has been an exciting start to the week, with some of the children realising just how demanding looking after a wee baby can be. I am happy to report that so far, we have only had a couple of incidents of babies being dropped or left behind! Two more days to go until the final weigh in.
